Terms
The agreement between you and Entrio. It is short because the service is: you pay monthly for software, you own what you write in it, and either of us can walk away.
Who you are agreeing with
Entrio is operated by Cullan Liang, a sole proprietor in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Making an account means accepting these terms. If you are setting Entrio up for a company, you are confirming you may agree on its behalf.
What Entrio does
Entrio gives each of your bookings a web page for your guest, holding the arrival details, house information and recommendations you write, and lets guests request extras you offer. It reads your bookings from a calendar link you provide, or from a channel manager you connect, and — where you switch them on — posts the welcome and pre-arrival messages you wrote into a booking’s own thread, invites your cleaners to turnovers, and measures how your guest pages are used.
It is software, not a service performed by a person: nobody here speaks to your guests, cleans your property or handles your keys.
What you are responsible for
Everything you put into it. That your entry codes and directions are correct, that your house rules are lawful, that photographs are yours to use, and that you have the right to hold the guest details you enter — including telling your guests how their information is used, which our privacy page exists to help you do. The same goes for the cleaner details you enter, and for the automated messages you switch on: they are sent in your name, with your words, and what they promise a guest is yours to honour.
Keeping your account secure is yours too. A guest’s link is a key: send it to the guest, not to a public place.
What it costs
Entrio Basic is $29 a month, Entrio Plus $49, and Entrio Ultimate $99, in Canadian dollars, charged monthly through Stripe until you stop them. Prices exclude any tax that applies where you are.
The first 30 days are free and take no card. If you never choose a plan, nothing is charged — there is no card on file to charge.
Moving to a dearer plan is charged immediately for the rest of that month. Moving to a cheaper one, or cancelling, takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for: you keep what you bought until then, and no refund is issued for the unused part.
Extras your guests pay for
When a guest pays for a late checkout or a clean, they are paying you, through your own Stripe account. Entrio takes no commission on it. Whether to approve a request, and whether to honour it, is yours; so is any refund, which you issue through Stripe.
Stripe’s own agreement governs that money, and Stripe decides whether it will serve your business — a decision we cannot overrule.
Ending it
Cancel whenever you like, from Settings. Your guest links keep working to the end of the period you paid for.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used to break the law, to harm guests, or to attack the service. Short of that, if Entrio ever shuts down you will be told well in advance and given time to take your information with you.
What we do not promise
Entrio is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption, that every feature will exist forever, or that it will fit a purpose you have in mind for it.
We are not responsible for what your channel does — if Airbnb changes its calendar export, or your channel manager’s token expires or its API changes, bookings and messages may stop flowing until it is reconnected — nor for a guest who cannot get in because the code in the app was wrong. Notifications to phones ride the platforms’ own push services and are best-effort: the email remains the record.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Entrio’s total liability to you for anything arising out of this agreement is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost bookings, lost profit or other indirect losses.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be signed away.
Changes and law
If these terms change, the date at the top moves and hosts are emailed before anything material takes effect. Continuing to use Entrio after that is acceptance.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario are where disputes are heard.
